I've been following WinD's releases for Lucky*Star, and I really love the translation and the notes... Thanks for the fantastic work! =)

But, the series has been idling of late, and though I know there's other fansubs who are currently working on Lucky*Star, I really wouldnt want to move away from WinDfs unless I really have no choice in the matter =\

I was wondering if there's any reason for the delay, and if there is, is there anyway for me to help?

The main reason why the subs stopped: I had my room broken into and I took a month off. While I don't plan on dropping the series, it has become a second tier project for me. Currently, my main project is Higu KAI. That doesn't mean I've stopped translating the series though - currently, episode 12 is next on my queue.

Lucky*Star by WinDfs is at episode 11~12? Hmmm, is there a source for WinDfs releases that I'm missing? Cos, according to what I can see at scarywater, bakaupdates and animesuki, it's only up to 4 =X

Anyway, since you have no intentions of dropping the series, I can rest easier now =)

Whilst the Translation is up to episode 11, the rest of hte project isn't.
I'm currently trying to find a replacement typesetter, as chaos4ever has, sadly, left us.

Also, a lot of staff are concentrating on Higu Kai. Hopefully when Arcticwolf gets back from Japan we might be able to breathe life back into the prokect.

WinD has been my absolute favorite subbers for L*S out of all the groups doing it. It's really a shame that it's stalled... I came poking around the forums just now to confirm that you guys haven't dropped it.

I'm a complete n00b at fansubbing - no experience whatsoever - but if there's any way I can help, I'll be more than happy to. I'm also very willing to learn something new.

I am kinda disappointed. Thats bcoz the last episode of Lucky Star was 2 days ago while Higu kai is going to be aired for 26 episodes. Thus, the project planning of Windfs was wrong. They should have finished Lucky Star 1st and then con. Higu kai as it is still being aired.

Anyway, keep up the good work with Higu kai. You all are the fastest and bestest.

truly, truly. you wondrous people cannot have terminated this project, have you? if so, i must be made aware, painful as that'll be.

i've managed to find reasonable fansubs elsewhere, but reasonable is so very far down the ladder to climb. ;p

Ah, terribly worry, bue like most of the seires AFK picks up, Lucky Star has been licenced, and hence we have to stop workign on it...

Well, stop lying to ourselves and say "STerminated" as opposed to "suspended"..
